Quality Control Manager for Apparel and PPE

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to oversee the quality assurance of our apparel and personal protective equipment (PPE) products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control procedures, standards, and specifications to ensure that our products meet the expectations of our customers and comply with the relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to ensure compliance with quality system requirements

  • Collaborate with the production team to establish quality criteria and specifications for raw materials, processes, and products

  • Conduct quality audits, inspections, and tests to verify the quality of raw materials, processes, and products

  • Identify and investigate any quality issues or non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality activities and results

  • Prepare and present reports and statistics on quality performance and improvement

  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction and ensure customer requirements are met

  • Keep up to date with the latest quality standards, methods, tools, regulations, and best practices in the apparel and PPE industry

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or a related field

  • Five years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the apparel or PPE industry

  • Excellent knowledge of quality standards, methods, tools, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
