GU In-store Denim Customization

Denim is made to be lived in and even better when it’s made your own. NYES partnered with GU to create an interactive in-store customization experience where shoppers transformed their newly purchased denim with live embroidery and custom heat press patches.

Guests were invited to personalize jackets and jeans by selecting from a curated collection of embroidered designs, custom lettering, and heat-applied patches. Our team completed each piece on-site, giving customers a front-row seat to the customization process and the opportunity to leave with a one-of-a-kind garment made just for them.

The activation combined craftsmanship with experiential retail, turning a shopping trip into a creative, hands-on experience. By offering live embroidery and heat press customization, GU gave customers the opportunity to express their personal style while adding lasting value to every purchase.
