About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Device Sales Leader to spearhead our sales strategy and execution in the high-volume medical apparel space, specifically isolation gowns and lab coats. This senior-level role is ideal for a strategic thinker and proven team builder with deep industry knowledge and the ability to secure large-scale contract manufacturing agreements with major distributors, group purchasing organizations (GPOs), and healthcare systems.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in medical textile sales, a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare and PPE markets, and the ability to lead and scale a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on medical gowns, lab coats, and related PPE products.
Establish, negotiate, and secure long-term contract manufacturing agreements with large-volume buyers including distributors, hospital networks, and government agencies.
Build, lead, and mentor a team of high-impact sales professionals to drive growth and expand market share.
Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build relationships and stay ahead of market trends.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production, operations, and compliance teams to ensure sales strategy aligns with manufacturing capacity and regulatory standards (e.g. FDA, 510(k), ISO 13485).
Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine go-to-market strategy.
Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and CRM data to support sales planning and executive reporting.
Qualifications:
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in medical device or healthcare apparel sales, with a focus on gowns, lab coats, or protective apparel.
Proven ability to secure large-volume contracts and develop key account relationships in the healthcare and/or government sectors.
Experience building and managing a national or regional sales team, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
Strong network within the medical distribution, hospital procurement, and GPO communities.
Deep understanding of PPE compliance, certification processes, and healthcare supply chain logistics.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for domestic manufacturing and supply chain resilience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with or selling to federal agencies, GPOs, or large integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
Knowledge of U.S.-based contract manufacturing models.
Familiarity with medical garment technical specifications and performance standards.
