Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2024

The VS Fashion Show Returns: A Celebration of ALL WOMEN!

After a 6-year break, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show made a thrilling comeback on October 15th- and it was packed with excitement and surprises! The runway was graced by the biggest names in fashion, including Bella Hadid, Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid, and Tyra Banks, alongside legendary VS Angels Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, and Joan Smalls.

This year’s show earned high praise for its refreshing diversity, celebrating multi-racial, multi-size, and multi-generational casting. Victoria’s Secret also debuted more comfortable, conceptual designs as part of their rebrand- and we’re here for it!

Now, let’s dive into some of our favorite looks!

Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid opened the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in a breathtaking baby pink silk playsuit, complete with an enormous pair of feather wings—pure angelic energy on the runway! The playsuit featured a rhinestoned bow on her right hip, a simple yet striking detail that elevated the entire look. Hot-fix rhinestones are a service we offer here at NYES! We collaborate with top vendors like Swarovski and Preciosa to bring you the finest crystals, along with pearls, nail heads, and novelty hot-fix elements for all your custom design needs!

Taylor Hill

Another one of the standout looks on the runway was Taylor Hill’s striking two-piece ensemble. Hill captivated in a hot-fix rhinestone bra, paired with a stunning long skirt showcasing the iconic baby pink Victoria's Secret stripes and a high hip motif. The pleating at the top of the skirt created a beautifully sculpted silhouette, highlighting the craftsmanship behind the design. At NYES, we specialize in both hand and machine pleating, offering a wide array of patterns, including sunburst, pineapple, basket weave, and box pleats, perfect for elevating any style.

Hill’s look was further enhanced by her wings, adorned with rhinestone fringing, which added movement, texture, and an extra touch of elegance- another service we proudly offer at NYES

Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks made an iconic return to the runway for the first time since 2005, and her presence was nothing short of spectacular- it felt like she never left. She owned the stage in a black bustier adorned with dazzling crystal embellishments, paired with shimmering leggings, strappy heels, and a stunning silver cape crafted by NYES.  The excitement and pride we felt seeing our work grace the runway as part of one of the most memorable looks of the night was beyond words. It was truly a dream come true for our team!

The silver cape was a masterpiece created using vinyl printing, a technique that allows us to bring bold, intricate designs to life. This process involves carefully cutting the design from colored vinyl sheets and heat-pressing it onto the fabric, ensuring a durable and long-lasting result. What makes vinyl printing so special is the endless creative possibilities it offers. From an array of vibrant colors to unique finishes and effects, from glitter, metallic, and more! Vinyl printing can transform any garment into a work of art. And for this project, the metallic finish of the silver cape brought just the right touch of shine and movement to Tyra’s iconic look, making her return to the runway unforgettable.

Adriana Lima and Devyn Garcia

We also contributed to Adriana Lima’s and Devyn Garcia’s looks for the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Lima graced the runway in a variety of stunning styles, including a crystal-embellished bra and underwear set, a red nightie, and a crisscross lingerie set. For her opening look, we used sublimation printing to produce the striking checkered sleeves and leggings. Devyn Garcia wore a gorgeous baby pink lace lingerie set with a delicate, dress-like cover-up, also created with our sublimation printing technique.

Sublimation printing is a unique technique that works well on polyester and synthetic fabrics, allowing us to create vibrant, custom prints. It’s ideal for large-scale designs and precise placements, which makes it perfect for high-fashion pieces. Using our large-format inkjet printers with specially formulated inks, we produce these prints efficiently, only printing the pattern itself. This process reduces excess dye and water waste, making it a more sustainable option while delivering high-quality, eye-catching results.

Vivienne Rohner

For Vivienne Rohner's look, we used black and red crystal pleating to bring her stunning wings to life. Crystal pleating is a technique that involves creating a series of sharp, narrow pleats all facing the same direction. At NYES, we have an extensive library of pleating patterns and specialize in crafting beautifully pleated panels in various styles, including sunburst, pineapple, basket weave, and box pleats. If you’re looking for something unique, we can also custom-develop a specific pattern just for you. Our pleating services cover a broad range of styles to suit any design.

Being part of this moment, especially with such a fashion legend, was an absolute honor for NYES. We are thrilled to contribute to designs that make such an impact on the world stage!

Launch your project with us today! Whether it’s strutting down the runway or something completely unique, NYES is adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of each of our clients.
