Just recently, we received the incredible news that we have been awarded a multi-year contract by the U.S. Department of Defense to manufacture the Navy Working Uniform (Type III). This is a monumental achievement for our Brooklyn-based factory, which has long been dedicated to producing high-quality garments while upholding our commitment to American-made products. We are immensely proud of this opportunity to serve the dedicated men and women of the U.S. Navy by crafting their essential uniforms.

The Navy Working Uniform (Type III) is a vital component of the modern Navy's wardrobe, designed for personnel to wear when performing duties away from shipboard environments. These uniforms are used by sailors during day-to-day operations onshore, in non-combat settings, and in garrison duties. This uniform's durability, functionality, and comfort are crucial for the safety and effectiveness of Navy personnel, especially in demanding environments where the smallest details can impact performance.

Our contract involves the production of approximately 100,000 sets of uniforms annually over the next five years, including trousers, parkas, and maternity slacks. The specific needs of our service members have been carefully considered, with a focus on creating garments that can withstand the rigors of everyday wear, while ensuring comfort and flexibility for both male and female personnel. Every aspect of these uniforms is subject to rigorous standards of excellence to ensure that our sailors are outfitted in gear that reflects the high level of professionalism required by their service.

Manufacturing these uniforms here in our Brooklyn factory means that every stitch, seam, and detail will be handled by American workers. It’s an honor to know that our team of over 100 garment workers will be contributing directly to our nation's defense. Their expertise and craftsmanship will ensure that these uniforms meet the exacting specifications set forth by the U.S. military. By producing these garments domestically, we are not only upholding our commitment to American-made products but also supporting the livelihood of hundreds of hardworking families.

Moreover, this partnership reflects the broader importance of keeping garment production within the United States. The Navy Working Uniform (Type III) represents more than just clothing; it’s a symbol of the craftsmanship and dedication that our workers bring to each project. At a time when global supply chains are under immense pressure, producing these uniforms domestically ensures that the Navy receives its equipment on time and up to standard. This reliability is crucial in supporting the readiness and morale of our service members.

We are proud to be entrusted with this responsibility. It aligns perfectly with our core values as a company dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and supporting American jobs. This project also serves as a powerful example of how businesses like ours can play a direct role in supporting national security.

Looking ahead, we are excited about what this partnership represents for our company, our workers, and the future of American manufacturing. We are deeply committed to continuing our tradition of excellence and doing our part to ensure that our service members have the reliable, well-crafted gear they deserve.
