Crafted by NYES: Two Iconic Renaissance Tour Ensembles

New York Embroidery Studio (NYES) is renowned for skillfully transforming ambitious visions into tangible, wearable art. Our studio thrives at the forefront of high-profile collaborations, illuminating the fashion stage with intricate and bold designs that bring the concepts of iconic visionaries to life. This season, we had the distinct privilege of collaborating with Telfar and Marc Jacobs to create two stunning ensembles showcased in Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour. Join us for a behind-the-scenes exploration of these mesmerizing pieces, each a testament to the harmony of innovative design and expert craftsmanship.
Marc Jacobs x Beyoncé
In collaboration with Marc Jacobs, NYES meticulously crafted an ensemble echoing the grandeur of Old Hollywood, infused with contemporary elegance. This bespoke masterpiece, finds its roots in the iconic black and white striped motif of Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2013 collection, updated and reimagined to style Beyoncé’s specific style with flair. artistry and precision.
For ultimate precision we used out in studio rhinestone robot to create patterns of stones. Then for each stripe, we carefully cut and applied an elegant Swarovski hotfix. The Final dress reflects a blend of classic and contemporary elegance and showcases the union of contrasting eras that exudes elegance worthy of the Queen Bey.
Telfar x Beyoncé
In close partnership with Telfar, NYES played a pivotal role in bringing a visionary design to life. Every stitch and embellishment was a harmonious culmination of precise craftsmanship and innovative design. From Beyoncé's custom ensemble and rhinestone hat, to Blue Ivy’s custom rhinestone jersey style tracksuit: everything was crafted to Telfar’s distinctive aesthetic - with a twist that embodies and reflects the stage presence and force that is Beyoncé.
For this collaboration, we once again utilized our in-studio rhinestone robot and skilled artisans to ensure each rhinestone was in perfect place for the performance. Between Telfar’s innovative designs with our esteemed craftsmanship, the resulting pieces not only resonated with the iconic status of the wearers but also stood as testaments to the power of collaborative creation.
