Project Overview
For Dion Lee’s Spring 2023 collection, NYES contributed intricate laser cutting to the Leaf Arrow Dress. This technique involved precise cutting of the fabric to create stunning patterns, adding a modern, sculptural dimension to the garment. The clean, sharp edges of the laser cut brought a fresh, innovative touch to the dress. Highlighting the collection’s blend of craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.
Laser Cutting Craftmanship: Dion Lee Spring 2023
We offer this service on both fabric and leather– used for this collaboration. The laser beam melts or vaporizes the fabric along the desired path, resulting in clean and sealed edges without fraying. Fabric laser cutting offers numerous benefits, including high accuracy, speed, and the ability to cut intricate details that would be difficult to achieve with traditional cutting methods.
