For Karol G’s debut at the 2024 Met Gala, we partnered with Marc Jacobs to bring a fantastical vision to life. The custom nude-toned gown was adorned with hundreds of hand-applied crystals and gemstones, capturing the evening’s fantasy-meets-couture energy. This ethereal look shimmered under the lights as cameras flashed, making Karol G a standout on the red carpet.
Hand Beading for Damson Idris at the Met Gala
Collaborating closely with Marc Jacobs, we meticulously hand-sewed intricate gemstone embellishments into Karol G’s gown. Each crystal was carefully placed to enhance the gown’s sculptural silhouette and ethereal quality. The final piece was a testament to craftsmanship and creativity, perfectly complementing the Met Gala’s theme and Karol G’s fairy-inspired aesthetic.
