Jason Wu SS26

Project Overview

NYES was honored to collaborate with Jason Wu on his SS26 collection at New York Fashion Week. Hundreds of hand-cut satin strips were bias-cut into 2-inch pieces, carefully sewn together to create custom patchwork fabrics. Each step—cutting, placement, and stitching—was carried out with precision and care, transforming individual strips into one-of-a-kind runway-ready textiles.

In collaboration with Jason Wu, our team helped bring his patchwork collage dress to life.  Inspired by Robert Rauschenberg’s Hoarfrost series, each strip of silk and novelty fabric was meticulously arranged and hand-sewn. The raw-edge satin against sheer organza created an artful, modern finish across custom colorways. The result was a collage of textures and tones—delicate yet bold, contemporary yet timeless.
