A GLIMPSE INTO OUR PPE GOWNS

Throughout COVID-19, we’ve all had that feeling of uncertainty. Whether it was geared towards your career, loved ones, or your safety, we all were trying to survive with a shortage of essential safety products. In the beginning of 2020, we had an unexpected surge for face masks, hand-sanitizer, and plastic gloves. As a society, we all were trying to keep each other healthy without spreading this new disease.

For NYES, we are always trying to become more eco-friendly within our office space and especially our PPE products. That is why we created a biodegradable gown that allows hospitals and medical field employees to live more sustainable while using medical gowns. We have created a biodegradable gown for those who are required to dress in a medical gown for their careers. We are fortunate that we do not need to have a particular way of disposing these gowns, they are easily disposed at the user’s convenience. With our biodegradable gowns, the user does not have to worry about disposing the gown in a particular manner. You would dispose this gown the same way you would dispose a normal PPE gown just from using our biodegradable gowns.
