For some, one’s outfit for the holiday is all about a statement of intention and less about trends or fitting in. One’s look symbolizes embracing a fresh start, and new opportunities that could happen in the upcoming year. One dresses in sparkles as a symbol of welcoming the next year with a bright and shiny start. Some also wear white for spiritual reasons in hopes to find peace in the new year.
