Job Summary
New York Embroidery Studio is an industry leader within the textile manufacturing and design space. We pride ourselves on originality and creativity. We are growing rapidly in PPE manufacturing and distribution, driving American garment manufacturing in New York.
We are looking for a Production Manager who will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, timely delivery of goods, and adherence to quality standards. They will manage resources, personnel, and workflows to optimize production and meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities are as follows:
Essential Job Duties
- Review delivery orders and enter them into our CRM
- Set daily and weekly output targets by style and line
- Forecast fabric and trim needs with the supply team
- Issue cut orders and track production timelines
- Allocate work across production lines based on capacity and deadlines
- Enforce quotas and ensure targets are met
- Prepare packaging materials and DD250 documentation
- Maintain inspection logs and shipment records
- Keep shared production files organized and up to date
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in apparel production management
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and factory workflows
- Hands-on, floor-oriented approach to solving problems
- Fast, organized, and responsive to changing needs
- Fluent communication skills
- Spanish or Chinese fluency is a strong plus
- Comfortable in a high-pressure, high-volume environment
Location: Brooklyn Army Terminal – Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 depending on experience
