Job Summary

Embroidery Machine Operators are responsible for producing high-quality embroidery work with precision and consistency. This role involves operating industrial embroidery machines, maintaining setup accuracy, and ensuring all designs meet studio standards

Essential Job Duties

  • Operate and monitor embroidery machines to complete production orders according to specifications.
  • Thread, hoop, and stabilize materials properly for various fabrics and techniques.
  • Ensure consistent stitch quality, color accuracy, and tension balance.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control and consistency.
  • Report any technical or material issues to the Embroidery Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready workstation.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate color vision.
  • Ability to follow design and placement instructions carefully.
  • Sense of urgency and commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Basic embroidery experience preferred; training available for strong candidates.
  • Must speak English or Spanish.
  • Work authorization required.

Reports to: Embroidery Manager

Location: 307 W 36th St, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10018

Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)

Compensation: $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
