Apparel Production Manager

Job Summary

New York Embroidery Studio is growing rapidly, and we’re hiring a hands-on Production Manager to oversee day-to-day garment manufacturing on our factory floor. This is a production execution role. You’ll be responsible for keeping sewing lines on track, issuing cut orders, organizing workflows, and coordinating with cutters, QC, and shipping. You’re on the floor making sure people hit quotas, files are organized, and orders ship out on time.

Essential Job Duties

  • Review delivery orders and enter them into our CRM
  • Set daily and weekly output targets by style and line
  • Forecast fabric and trim needs with the supply team
  • Issue cut orders and track production timelines
  • Allocate work across production lines based on capacity and deadlines
  • Enforce quotas and ensure targets are met
  • Prepare packaging materials and DD250 documentation
  • Maintain inspection logs and shipment records
  • Keep shared production files organized and up to date

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in apparel production management
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and factory workflows
  • Hands-on, floor-oriented approach to solving problems
  • Fast, organized, and responsive to changing needs
  • Fluent communication skills
  • Spanish or Chinese fluency is a strong plus
  • Comfortable in a high-pressure, high-volume environment

Location: Brooklyn Army Terminal – Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 depending on experience
